We consulted with several well-known orthodontists in the area, and most recommended extracting three or four teeth. Dr. Davis was the only orthodontist who suggested a different approach. He believed that an unerupted tooth could still be brought down naturally and proposed creating space first to allow that tooth to erupt properly. The treatment took a long time, but the results were worth it. Not only was he able to avoid unnecessary extractions, but my son's bite and facial balance improved significantly. As a parent, I could not have been happier with the outcome. The reason I have so much confidence in Dr. Davis is not simply because the treatment worked. I have a family member who is an orthodontist, which gave me access to professional opinions throughout my son's treatment process. I was specifically advised to find an orthodontist experienced in treating complex Class III cases, and Dr. Davis was the only orthodontist who identified the issue and recommended the same treatment approach before I even mentioned what I had been told. That gave me confidence that his diagnosis was based on his own expertise and experience rather than simply following a standard treatment plan. In my opinion, Dr. Davis focuses on long-term dental health and facial harmony rather than simply straightening teeth. That level of experience and clinical judgment is rare. After seeing the transformation in my son's smile and facial profile, I consider him one of the most skilled orthodontists I have encountered. In fact, I am now considering bringing my younger child to the practice as well, even though his case is much more routine and there are many orthodontists closer to our home. My only hesitation is the front office experience. While I have tremendous respect for Dr. Davis and his clinical expertise, I often found communication with Miranda challenging. There were times when I left conversations feeling discouraged rather than reassured, which can be difficult for parents managing years of orthodontic treatment. That said, the quality of the orthodontic care itself has been excellent, and I believe improvements in patient communication would make the overall experience even better. If I were evaluating this practice solely on orthodontic expertise, diagnosis, and treatment outcomes, I would highly recommend Dr. Davis.
